Tarik Dogru (Dr. True), PhD, is an Associate Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Director of Graduate Programs in the Dedman College of Hospitality at Florida State University. Prior to joining Florida State University, Dr. True worked at Boston University as an assistant professor for two years. Dr. True earned his doctorate in hospitality management from the University of South Carolina in 2016. Dr. True is a highly productive researcher who publishes in many prestigious hospitality and tourism journals, including Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, International Journal of Tourism Research, Tourism Analysis and so on.
