Dedman School of Hospitality faculty member Lydia Hanks and fellow researchers Makarand Mody and Tarik Dogru have been awarded an International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE) Best Paper for 2018 designation for “Parallel pathways to brand loyalty: Mapping the consequences of authentic consumption experiences for hotels and Airbnb.”

Hanks and her team will present their research during the annual ICHRIE Conference in Palm Springs, Calif., July 25-27. Founded in 1946, ICHRIE is a nonprofit association promoting education, research, service and business in the hospitality and tourism industry.
